Yep, you've got it. The cliffhanger and the suffering are one and the same, and I'm pretty sure either way, the cliffhanger will leave all of us fans suffering until new eps of Bones come back, somewhere, somehow...Sigh.

Although 3 additional episodes of FOX's "Bones" have been filmed, the fans may not be able to see them before the end of February. The network is however expected to continue with repeats as the show moves to a new timeslot in January.

FOX had planned to move "Bones" to its Friday night "death zone" several times, but it appears it may finally happen because of the writers' strike.

The show moves to Friday at 8:00pm on January 4. According to the most recent press release, however, the first all-new episode "The Baby in the Bough" is scheduled for February 22.

Finally, here are stills and spoilers from the "Baby in the Bough" episode: Booth and Brennan investigate the scene where a car was run off the road and the victim's body deliberately burned beyond recognition.

When the team hears muffled whimpering during the site investigation, they find the victim's baby miraculously perched in a tree above the scene of the crash.

The team designates Brennan as the infant's caretaker, but when the baby swallows a key piece of evidence, they question her nurturing skills.

The team soon identifies the victim as a laborer who worked in a tire-recycling factory in a small, impoverished town in Virginia, and Brennan and Booth venture out to investigate who might have wanted her dead.

Their suspicions range from her deadbeat husband to the impecunious habitants of her town. Meanwhile, the team is fascinated by the presence of a baby in the lab and its affinity for Brennan.

Hey, I don't think Woonieville, Somewhere, is a real place...But since you have such an awesome name, I'll answer you. If I had to guess, I'd say that cliffhanger at the end of episode 12 is going to be more difficult emotionally for Brennan than for Booth. Someone's suffering physically as well...Anyone have it figured out?

The Man in the Mud...

While on a date at Homestead Natural Hot Springs, a couple discovers a body while taking a dip in a spring filled with mud. Booth and Brennan are soon called to the scene. The decease is Tripp Goddard, a motorcycle racer who was also elected one of the top ten sexiest bachelors, who was murdered after a race about two weeks ago. The episode introduces April Pesa, Sweets' girlfriend. When we meet them, they are attending a ceramics class.

"The Santa in the Slush"...

The body of a man with a white beard and a tailor-made Santa costume is discovered in the sewer near a D.C. mall just three days before Christmas. After construction workers find the body of an archbishop whose kneecaps were surgically removed, the team is back on the case of the Widow's Son serial killer. When Angela discovers what appears to be a victim tree in the evidence vault, the team realizes the killer employs a systematic pattern in selecting victims. With a musician and an archbishop the first to go, the team tries to predict who might be next and how they can stop the killer before he strikes again. As you may have heard, John Francis Daley is joining the cast permanently, and by midseason he'll be fully in the mix, assisting in suspect interrogations and working up psych profiles. This turns out to be especially useful when Booth gets himself an admirer/stalker. I'm also hearing producers are planning an American Idol-themed episode. In fact, they're currently searching for former Idol finalists who are interested in guesting on the show!

To discover who killed a man named Kris Kringle, Booth and Brennan interview Philip Harley, a toy inventor who also is Kringle's landlord. Booth is tired of finding clues that make it sound like Kringle was the real Santa Claus, such as the fact he put "North Pole" as his previous address on his apartment lease. Brennan seems to be a believer. Later, they talk with a manager working at the temp agency that employed Kringle. They learn that Kringle was the agency's best Santa and, therefore, got the best gigs. With that info in hand, the team believes that another Santa may have killed Kringle. Booth and Brennan talk about lying to family members. Max is brought to the conjugal trailer... Zack is leaving for Michigan for a family gathering. Angela, Hodgins, Cam and Parker appear.

Of Daley’s addition to the cast, BONES creator and executive producer Hart Hanson said: “He is terrifically funny and very appealing while projecting intelligence, which injects his scenes with all our actors, especially Emily and David, with a kind of rollicking energy that is a real bonus … and he fits in perfectly with the cattywonkers tone of our show.”

Zack discovers that the latest victim, a Vicar General in the Catholic Church, had both kneecaps surgically removed as part of a series of cannibalistic murders. Booth and Brennan warn a wealthy man named Ray Porter that someone is targeting the Bilderberger secret society, of which he is a member, and he laughs off their concern until he is found tied up and gagged by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet. Russ (Brennan's brother) comes home and turns himself in when his daughter, who has cystic fibrosis, gets worse. Brennan refers her to the top CF doctor in the country. Brennan, Booth and Russ appear in court with the state's attorney and Russ's parole officer to work out what Russ's punishment for fleeing the jurisdiction will be.

When an 11-year-old camper finds the decomposed body of a man in the woods, feet removed and arms bound, the team goes in to investigate. The autopsy leads Brennan and Booth to a lodge in Virginia not far from where the victim died. It turns out the lodge is used as a "Pony Play" S&M retreat where women act as jockeys and men act as their horses. Brennan and Booth's questioning leads them to suspect a number of people, including the victim's wife and his female "jockey" lover. However, Zack and Hodgins uncover evidence that makes deciphering the killer more difficult than initially expected. Meanwhile, Angela agrees to go under hypnosis in an effort to discover the name of her previous husband so that she can divorce the mystery man from her past and marry Hodgins, but she finds it difficult to fall under the hypnotist's trance. Archbishop Wallace - He is being questioned by Booth and Brennan anout his missing Vicar General Doug Cooper. They tell the Archbishop that they believe he was killed in a series of cannibalistic murders. He tells the investigators Cooper was writing a book about the history of early Christianity and its roots in paganism.

Ray Porter- A slimy salesman type. It seems that a common thread found amongst the murder victims is that they all went on a trip to Turkey that Porter went on, and arranged on behalf of an infamous group called the Bilderbergers. Porter brushes off the risk of being associated with this group, pointing out the fancy cuff links and other financial benefits his association with this group has given him. However, he may have wanted to take it seriously. When we see him next scene, he is bound, gagged, and hanging by his wrists from the ceiling. Booth's arrival stops him from becoming lunch.

Amy Hollister - Amy is the girlfriend of Brennan's fugitive brother Russ. She comes to Brennan looking for Russ - it seems that Amy's ill daughter Haley views Russ as her father-figure and the little girl's cystic fibrosis has taken a definite turn for the worst. While Brennan does arrange for Haley to be taken care of by a world class pulmonary doctor that she is friends with, she refuses to contact her own father to get ahold of Russ. However, when she goes to see Haley at the hospital and hears the little girl begging to see Russ, Brennan is rethinking her position

Season 2 of the wittingly funny forensic drama, Bones, just came out on DVD yesterday. The six-disc set includes all 21 second season episodes, along with a couple of special features, a gag reel and audio commentary on two of the season’s installments.

The first featurette entitled “The Memories in the Season” takes a look at the more significant and prominent character arcs of the sophomore offering. Among those included are Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) getting buried alive in a car as the rest of the team scrambles to find their location; Dr. Zack Addy’s (Eric Millegan) transformation from dorky, young science whiz to credible forensic professional; the introduction of Tamara Taylor’s character, Dr. Camille Saroyan, as new Jeffersonian Institute group leader and one-time romantic interest to FBI Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz); and last but not least, the consummated love story between Hodgins and facial reconstruction expert, Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin).

The second featurette called “Visceral Effects: The Digital Illusions of Bones” captures the technical genius and expertise behind many of the series’ forensic onscreen magic. A group of teenagers are driving on the freeway when a skull smashes through their windshield. At the Jeffersonian lab, Brennan tests out a young forensic anthropologist to replace Zack, who has left for Iraq, and she and Cam examine the skull in question. They find it has marks made by human teeth, suggesting cannibalism. The team identifies the victim, a known violin protégé who disappeared after a concert. On a quest to find out what happened to him, Brennan and Booth go into the field. A trail of suspects leads them to a strange cannibalistic society, and the team must string together a gruesome and cryptic series of crimes - provided that Brennan and Booth can survive the newfound tension between them. Meanwhile, Cam suggests that Angela hire a private investigator to track down her ex-husband so she can annul her previous marriage and marry Hodgins, a task easier said than done. Daniel Dillion: 50's, Devasted that his son, Roger, who he thought ran away is dead. Roger ran away after Daniel beat him in a drunken rage. Rogers body was found in his schools time capsule which was buried in 1987.

Darwin Banks: 43, Was Rogers Science Teacher. Tells Booth that Roger was a clever kid and good with computers and says that the cocaine found on Rogers body would not have been his as Roger was a clean kid. Booth tells Darwin to tell him about his 1987 drug bust.

Gil Bates: Rogers best friend at school. Both were picked on at school. Tells Booth about "DragonStreak", a computer game Roger was working on.

Janelle Stinson: Rogers French Teacher. Ended up having Sex with Roger. Janelle become pregnant but did not tell her boyfriend, now husband, Todd Stinson. There son Chris Stinson is Rogers! Todd forgives Janell and they both cry.

John Adamson: Slick Lobbyist. Paid Roger to that his SATs for him. The results got him into Harvard. He is not the Killer.

New Character...

Bones is introducing a new character when it returns for its third season.

John Francis Daley, best known for his work on NBC's short-lived comedy series, Freaks & Geeks, has landed a recurring role on the FOX drama. He will reportedly play a therapist named Dr. Sweet in at least four episodes of the new season. It is not yet known which of the show's regular characters is set to undergo therapy.

Daley, 22, played Sam Weir on Freaks & Geeks, after which he appeared in several other television series, including Boston Legal, The Geena Davis Show, The Ellen Show, Spin City, Judging Amy and Regular Joe. He was tapped for a role on ABC's The Call, which was supposed to begin airing this fall. Unfortunately, the network has decided not to pick the show up.

John Francis Daley's most recent starring role was on the FOX comedy, Kitchen Confidential. The show was pulled off the air after only four episodes.

In June, it was reported that New Line Cinema bought The $40,000 Man, a comedy spoof written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The story revolves around a heroic astronaut who is horribly injured in a car accident. On a budget of a mere $40,000, the government rebuilds him into a not-so-bionic man by the government.

At this time, there is no word as to when exactly Daley will begin appearing on Bones, although filming for the third season is underway. On Monday, August 27, a fire broke out on the show's set, located at 20th Century FOX Studios in Los Angeles. The blaze reportedly began when a piece of electrical equipment set an object ablaze. A show insider told E! Online that a production assistant successfully put out the fire before any serious damage was done. Filming resumed later in the day.

The third season of Bones will premiere on Tuesday, September 25.

Fire alarms sound off at the Jeffersonian. Two janitors go to the incinerator, where the smoke is coming from. They speculate that Zack may have put a dead pig he was doing tests on in the incinerator. But what they find is way more gruesome: the body of a woman. The team investigates this mysterious death. They quickly find out that it's someone they work with, intern Kristen Reardon. Booth questions various Jeffersonian employees. Cam invites Booth to her father's birthday dinner. They are picked up by Cam's sister, Felicia. It seems that people believe Cam's life is perfect and that Felicia should try to strive for what Cam has. Booth tries to be nice to both sisters but things turn awkward (and funny for us!).

Fire on Set...

Everyone is okay. That's the important thing to tell you before reporting that a fire broke out on the set of Bones this morning, after a piece of electrical equipment appeared to ignite a piece of material nearby.

Though the show's Fox rep couldn't be reached for comment, a source on set tells me a production assistant doused the flames before any major damage occurred or anyone was injured.

Production is already back up and running this afternoon, as the cast and crew shoot the new season's upcoming Halloween episode, for which I'm told David Boreanaz and the rest of the gang are wearing costumes.

We always knew David and Emily's chemistry was hot—right, Bones fans? Well, now we have further proof!

3.06- "Intern in the Incinerator"...

Tyler Neville - A co-worker of the murder victim, Kristen Reardon. Both worked in the authentication department at the Jeffersonian, and were competing for a prestigious prize called the Bates Fellowship. When questioned he did not know who Kristen was dating, , but she told him that he would be surprised when he found out. Booth hints that Tyler may have been jealous, but Tyler informs him that he is gay (ouch!)

Phil and Nick - Two janitors in the Jeffersonian. Nick alerted Phil to the black smoke billowing out of the incinerator, and Phil informs him that the smoke goes black sometimes when animals wander in or the doctors dump them in. Phil remarks that the odor is like that of roasted pork - but they definitely DO NOT find a pig in there. They find the body of Kristen Reardon charred.

Felicia Saroyan - Cam's sister, and oh is there sibling rivalry. I'm not going to give to many details because this is actually hysterical. Basically, Cam never told her family that she and Booth broke up because she was afraid she would never live it down - but that doesn't stop Felicia from kissing him. Let's just say hilarity ensues and siblings bond - at Booth's expense.

Dr Ted Reardon and Dr. Kyle Aldridge - Reardon is Kristen's father, and Aldridge we find out was Kristen's lover. However, that's not the only cause of strain between the two men - Aldridge was instrumental in helping Bancroft unseat Reardon from power at the Jeffersonian. Aldridge is a bit of an intellectual snob who tries to undermine the investigators by playing "I am smarter than thou". It doesn't work when he realizes that they know about his affair with Kristen and consider him a suspect. While Booth makes Brennan interrogate Aldridge, he sits with Reardon who is watching the interrogation. Reardon is furious over the fact that Aldridge seems to be getting away with killing his daughter, and says that there is no punishment bad enough for him. Later, when Aldridge is found murdered, Reardon becomes a double suspect. Booth suspected him before, being so furious at his daughter for sleeping with his political enemy, and is even more suspicious when the method used to murder Aldridge is traceless = Reardon wrote a book about a compound whose use as a poison could not be traced.

Dr. Harlan Bancroft - Head of the Jeffersonian and the man who masterminded Reardon's ouster. While he promises complete cooperation with the investigation, there's still something about him that Booth does not trust. Later, when Cam, Angela, and Zack are piecing together Kristen's murder which explains how copper was found in her body and also a wound in Aldridge and is accidental Bancroft enters. When the investigators wonder why Aldridge would not have admitted what happened if it were accidental, Bancroft tells them that Aldridge wouldn't have spoken until he spoke to the top, and since Aldridge had requested a meeting with the in-house counsel of the Jeffersonian he believed he was going to do so. Bancroft leaves them with a bizzare "be careful" and informs Angela that if HE were the killer she would be next. Angela and the gang take his words as a threat.

Dr. Evan Klimkew - Not really too much there. He was suspected by the cops but later on in the sides they decide that he was not the killer. However, he was running some kind of smuggling ring and got in some illegal artifacts.
